“Aurora” Dragon Egg

Named “Aurora”, it is inspired by the glistening and captivating spectrum radiating from the exterior. This one of a kind handmade exquisite egg has been meticulously crafted from a piece of sycamore that has been turned, hollowed, then pierced before finally enrobing with Chameleon Flakes and adorned with a handmade finial made from African Rosewood.

The egg sits on a stepped plinth, turned from Panga Panga with a small locating recess for the egg to sit

Lifting the egg from the plinth by the finial, the secret of an inner egg ring box is revealed. Made from the marrying piece of Rosewood the finial was turned from, the egg proudly presents on a clear acrylic pedestal.

This piece is approx 18cm tall and 9cm in diameter.
