Porridge is a hearty breakfast on any day of the week, stirred with a traditional Scottish Porridge Spurtle you’re sure to make the right consistency for Goldilocks. Made from Beech, your Spurtle is naturally antibacterial, with an ergonomic thistle head for a handle and and shaped at the base for reaching the corners of the pan, the low surface area of the blade allows the porridge to glide around the Spurtle rather than clumping as it would to a spoon.
Served in a traditional Porringer, your morning porridge is sure to taste even more satisfying!
Turned from a specially selected piece of Beech, the turned bowl is then hand carved to create a pair of matching integrated handles, one either side, by which to hold your porringer.
And, of course, you can’t enjoy your porridge without a drizzle of nectar on top, so we have also included a hand turned Beech wood honey dipper to complete this essential ensemble
