Description

A beautiful handmade wooden nut platter with a brass ships wheel nutcracker mechanism.

This beautiful wooden platter has been handmade from a specially selected piece of ash which has been turned to shape then sanded and polished to have a smooth tactile finish.

A brass ships wheel with a screw and anvil nutcracker has been mounted on the centre pedestal to create this beautiful functional piece that would look amazing in any home.

A great way to crack the nuts. Place in the vice and turn the ships wheel until the nut cracks in a controlled manner without damaging the kernel inside.

The platter is approximately 12 inch diameter
