Would you like to try your hand, spending an exciting and satisfying time in our workshop learning a new skill? Perhaps for a new hobby? Or do you know someone who would simply enjoy making their own wooden bowl? A woodturning class makes a brilliant ‘experience’ gift!

No previous experience is necessary, and most people who come to our workshop have never used a lathe before.  But the classes are also suitable for people who have done some turning and want to improve their skills. With a choice of either a half day or a full day experience these workshops are great value, with no hidden extra charges.

All tools, equipment and materials will be provided and you will leave with your own handcrafted masterpiece and a new found appreciation for the art of wood turning.

What you will learn:-

• Basic safety procedures
• how to use a lathe safely and efficiently
• techniques for shaping and finishing wood
• creating your own unique wooden piece

Booking is valid for 12 months from date of purchase if your experience has to be cancelled for any reason it can be rescheduled or the cost refunded.

Not suitable for children under the age of 14, attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the experience.
