The unique grain pattern produced by the Birds Eye growth in the wood ensures that this truly is a one of a kind bowl.
Birds Eye maple is very highly sought after and highly figured pieces such as this one are extremely rare as the occurrence of the Birds Eye figuring is totally natural and cannot be cultured or cultivated using man made methods.
