Description

A handmade wooden wand made from 30 year old Cherry, grown on the island of Guernsey

Embellished with a double barley twist on the wand blade.

This wand is 39.5 cm in length and has a handle still covered with the natural bark of the cherry tree.

The “blade” of the wand has been embellished with a double barley twist then the entire wand had been sanded, waxed and polished to give a very comfortable tactile feel.

According to Wizarding World,
“Cherry is a very rare wand wood that creates a wand of strange power, mostly highly prized by the wizarding students of the school of Mahoutokoro in Japan, where those who own Cherry wood wands have special prestige. the Western wand-purchaser should dispel from their minds any notion that the pink blossom of the living tree makes for a frivolous or merely ornamental wand, for Cherry wood often makes a wand that possesses truly lethal power, whatever the core, but if teamed with dragon heartstring, the wand ought never to be teamed with a wizard without exceptional self-control and strength of mind”
