Large two-tone platter

Description

A large contrasting two-tone platter embellished with a ring of crystals set in resin.

The platter is made from a specially selected piece of bubbinga which has been mounted on the lathe and turned to shape then the center recessed and fitted with a contrasting piece of maple. Then a decorative ring of crystals have been placed between the two woods and set in resin.

The entire piece was then sanded and then polished to a high sheen to create this beautiful one of a kind piece.

The platter is 31cm diameter and 6cm tall.
