The body has been lovingly turned to shape from a specially selected piece of Ash to form a bulbous and tactile vessel. A contrasting Sapele lid has been turned in an oriental style, with staggered and tiered coving and a gently domed top. To complete the ensemble, a rounded beech finial has been turned to mirror the curves of the pot itself.
Each piece of wood has its own unique charm and this creation is no different. The body displays all the characteristics of Ash with its varied grain, open on one side and spartina on the other, the magical Mahogany-like appearance of the Sapele and the warm tones of the Beech all marry together for a delightful and functional design
