Description
Eggs are a collectors’ item, not just for Easter!
Delivering a stunningly tactile, aesthetically pleasing home decor presentation to any console table, side board or dining table, this is a truly collectors’ item
Ever increasingly difficult to obtain, Walnut – hard, heavy and with a resistance to splitting – was the deliberate choice of wood for the nest in which to house the decorative eggs for display.
Turned to 15cm in diameter, the dish is a satisfying size to sit comfortably in any setting, making its presence known but without being intrusive.
The walnut dish, with its delicious swirls of creamy caramel and cafe latte throughout, has been designed with an intentional foot which has been finished on the underside with cork to add a protective cushioning for your chosen display site
The eggs have all been hand turned by eye, rather than creating a fabricated facsimile of each other, half of the beauty in the display is in creating a reflection of the natural eggs
Each of the eggs has been turned from a different wood, again mirroring the beauty found in the natural formation
