Description
A handmade wooden plate made from a specially selected piece of sapele.
The plate has a flat surface and a scalloped rim making for a very pleasing shape. The plate is approximately 10” diameter.
Sapele Heartwood is a golden to dark reddish brown. Colour tends to darken with age.
Sapele is a commonly exported and economically important African wood species and is often used as a substitute for genuine mahogany.
